I was born and raised in San Francisco, California. In 2003, I joined the U.S. Marine Corps and was honorably discharged in 2013. During my time in service, I was stationed on the west coast, the east coast, and was deployed around the world. My wife and I, and our three kids currently live in Pingree Grove, Illinois. 

My instructor background consists of coaching for the Motorcycle Safety Foundation and currently serve as the Director of Training for MotoVenue. I am certified to teach the Basic Rider Course for two- and three-wheel motorcycles, the Advanced Rider Course and Military Sportbike Rider Course, the Adventure Bike Rider Course, and the Dirtbike School’s Closed-Range Exercises. I also instructed sportbike clinics for 8 years, where my team and I introduce riders to road-course trackdays to help them improve their cornering skills at the racetrack. 

As a Backcountry Discovery Route (BDR) Ambassador, I have conducted movie premieres at dealerships and support the organization's mission to promote rider education, safety, and responsible travel along the routes.
